The only reason I like Valentine’s Day

I rolled in from the gym this morning, made a pot of coffee in my French press and sat my sweaty ass in front of the computer to read the morning news. Glancing only at headlines, I sipped my java from my favorite KCRW mug and tried to pace myself as I took divine, eye-fluttering bites of a Reese’s Peanut Butter heart. It’s the breakfast of champions.

    i totally agree, that and the day after i get tons of roses/flowers at a discount because people are so silly at buying into a day for a flowers. Feb 15 is a great day for flowers!

    Cadbury Eggs? We disagree on this point, Martha but to each her own. You KNOW they make the Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs that I love, which is the only reason I look forward to Easter (they don’t make a Passover Reese’s Peanut Butter Matzoh). Whoppers are available year round. As for Oreos, they serve as an excellent stand in for every other day of the year in which Reese’s doesn’t up their ratio of chocolate and pb. Best combo evah.

    And thanks for pointing out my typo, Jenn. Sam mentioned it yesterday and I forgot to fix it. KCRW: The best station in the world.
