As we are around the same age I can definitely relate. I'm the victim of some pretty nasty bunions, partially due to genetics and partially due to years in toe shoes and high heels. As a petite girl, I refuse to EVER give up heels! I don't even like going to the beach or the gym, as they're the two places I feel heels are not really appropriate. Call me vain, but if I live long enough, I too will be hobbling around the nursing home in my 4 inch heels.
