In the meantime, I’ve been reading the blog of conservative writer Andrew Sullivan over at The Atlantic with the hope of understanding where thinking conservatives are in this whole Palin mess. I don’t often agree with him but he is an independent thinker which helps me know that not all conservatives are balls-to-the-wall evangelists. In fact, Sullivan wrote an incredibly eloquent piece last winter about why Obama would be good for this country and it was since reading it that I quit screaming at Sullivan through the television set each time he was on Bill Maher. He deserves to be heard and if you read only one article today, please read that one.
If you read more than one, here are two shorties from Sullivan:
On his blog today, he offered this about McCain and integrity.
And one of his readers offered this about what Obama should say.
Brilliant and hopeful. Both.

My darling Aaryn, I’ve missed you so!
These links to Sullivan’s articles are FABULOUS!! I too, used to scream at that man during REM sleep but I agree with you, it’s always good to tune in to the “other” so that we can understand the enemy. And apparently, he’s removed his head from his rectum and is seeing the light. God Bless the U S and A!

The articles are fine (I’ll read them), but please, please share with us what *you* think of Palin. There’s so much to discuss, and you always have an interesting perspective.
