I’ve been reading Andrew Sullivan lately to get a feeling for what intellectual conservatives are thinking about this election. He’s very angry, like I am (like we all should be) but he also offers up some comedic relief here and there. Last week, he introduced his readers to British comic Catherine Tate, who plays a character called the “I Can Do That Woman.” She’s awesome. Sullivan likens the following skit to what it must be like for Sarah Palin at the UN.
Have a laugh today, will ya?

I love Catherine Tate. My favourite skit of hers is “My Son’s a Gay Man Now”.
I think this may well be an accurate representation of a woman who’s never been outside North America, and just got her passport last year while Governor of an entire state full of caribou, moose and bears. Hurdy gurdy gurdy indeed.

Kinda like Dory speaking “Whale” in Finding Nemo.
Can’t wait for Thursday’s VP debate. I have my popcorn and my 3D glasses ready.

Hmm. Didn’t find it that funny. Ah well, you can’t win ‘em all.

Haha, that was pretty funny!
I watch Jon Stewart clips in between news, blogs, and frustrating conversations with all the conservative I know. At least then I don’t totally lose it when yet another woman tells me “I don’t like McCain, but I love Palin, she rocks!!” *shudders*
