I'm planning on getting smashed on peach daiquiris this weekend to try to get my mind off of the crazy. This whole thing just makes me insane. As a Canadian who knows single-payer health care works very, very well, the lies and propaganda are so offensive. What makes me even more incredulous is that the vast majority of these protestors would be far, far better off in a European/Canadian style socialism than they are in the US. They'd be healthier, better educated, have a better standard of living, and fewer wars. It astounds me how corporate America and the ruling oligarchy has brainwashed so many Americans to act so blatantly against their own self-interest, and in the interest of mega-corporations and the excessively wealthy. @Jenn, Excellent idea.
